Encrypted in transit & at rest
All data travels over TLS 1.2+ (HTTPS). Your database and uploaded documents are encrypted at rest on Railway’s EU infrastructure. We never store card details — payments are handled entirely by Stripe.
Industry-standard password security
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with a high work factor before storage — the same algorithm used by banks. Even our own engineers cannot read your password. Authentication uses short-lived signed tokens stored in secure, httpOnly cookies.
UK GDPR compliant
CalmLet is operated under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. You can export all your data or permanently delete your account in one click from Settings. We never sell your data to third parties. Ever.
Attack-resistant by design
We deploy security headers (Content Security Policy, HSTS, X-Frame-Options) via Helmet.js, rate-limit all authentication endpoints to prevent brute-force attacks, and restrict API access via strict CORS rules.
Privacy-first analytics
We use Plausible Analytics — a GDPR-compliant, cookie-free analytics tool hosted in the EU. No Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads tracking, no personal data sent to ad networks. Your visitors stay private.
